Conveniently located on Maryland's Eastern Shore between Chestertown and Rock Hall in Kent County, this lovely 18th century manor home sits like a jewel on 12 manicured acres. The Chesapeake Bay is a mere 1/2 mile away, where guests may use the private beach and full servcies of the Tolchester Marina. The Inn's six guest rooms, two parlors, screened porch, and numerous fireplaces provide a casual and friendly atmosphere. Our new "Stones Throw" cottage is the perfect romantic getaway or retreat.

The Inn at Mitchell House is a popular setting for weddings, small corporate meetings and other events. We will assist you in all of your organizational needs.

Rates for the rooms include a full country breakfast, based upon two guests per room. We offer complimentary beverages, but feel free to bring your own. In the Stones Throw you will find breakfast items and beverages to start your day. The fully equipped kitchen can also be used for lunch and dinner.

The Inn operates year round, seven days a week. We accept children who will respect the quiet atmosphere. All of our rooms include a TV/VCR or DVD, hair dryer, iron, wireless inernet and use of 2nd floor refrigerator. The cottage also has TV/DVD, hair dryer, iron and a laundry facility.
