Most breakfasts aren’t complete without Tracy’s Mitchell House Home Fries. These have been a staple at our Chestertown inn since we first opened in 1986.
Ingredients for Mitchell House Home Fries
- 2 white potatoes
- 2 large red potatoes
- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/3 cup bacon drippings
- 3 green onions, chopped including green part
- 1-2 TBL Lemon Pepper
Clean and chop potatoes. Heat bacon dripping in large fry pan over medium-high heat. Add potatoes and fry until golden brown. Add green onions and heat several minutes. Add lemon pepper and stir. Serve hot. Yields about 6 servings.
